SUMMER 2018, Look UK and John Lewis Birmingham collaborated a special feel good day for VIP's.
Personal stylers and beauty advisors at John Lewis got together to help visually impaired people get ready for a daily routine.
It was a great turn out, the room was filled with VIPs eager to learn some great tips.
The stylers gave us ideas on how to put right clothing together and organise our wardrobes so it's easy to figure out what to wear.
Urban decay presented thier makeup range and advised us which products to use as routine basis and which ones for special events.
I was keen to learn how to get ready for school and look as natural as possible.
We also tried sun glasses from thier range too which were specially selected for visually impaired people to help with the sunlight.
It was a great event, I loved learning what other VIPs find challenging and it was great to know that I wasn't alone in things I find a bit of a struggle. I also made great contacts with other children my age from all over the country.
Great event. Thank you John Lewis and Look UK for arranging.
I went home with a bag full of Urban Decay products that the team help me pick out according to my skin type and complexion.
I now use these products on a daily basis and they are great for my skin.
There was great stylists that work for JOHN LEWIS in BIRMINGHAM that helped me check match jeans and jackets according to my height and measurements
This was a great TIP given from one of the stylists. It gives you the illusion of a slimmer waist and of course looks neat.

Blind Face Of Vogue Magazine
It was great meeting Lucy Edwards who is a fashion vlogger.
She talked about how she overcame her fear of wearing makeup and made steps to learn how to apply as a daily routine.
She was so bubbly and bought energy to the room. Looking forward to meeting her again and hopefully do a podcast with her to share her journey with Meeks Speaks.
